So now that the eclipse is over, what next? We came together on April 8th, 2024, to share something fun and exciting. The next total US mainland eclipse will happen in 2044, twenty years from now. You’ll get one sooner if you happen to be in places like Greenland, Iceland, Spain, or Alaska. NASA Science estimated that 215 million people watched the 2017 eclipse in person and online, and this one was wider, lasted longer, and was viewable from a larger number of more populated areas. So that’s a lot of people!

I’m left wondering if anything changed based on our collective attention and the earth’s energy on April 8th. Perhaps it’s too early to tell? But for that day, it was a great and needed reminder that we can share in something extraordinary.

We could all benefit from more delight in our lives. I’m inviting all of us to purposefully look for and create meaningful moments where we can have fun and excitement in our everyday lives within our workplaces, communities, and the world at large. What a positive difference we can make – I know it in my bones.

I’d love to hear your ideas and thoughts on the subject.
