Last week I trained 20 new Sales Reps and it got me thinking about how, even those of us who have been in or around sales for years, feel about being in sales.

Are you proud of the sales role you have or do you call yourself something else because you are embarrassed to say you are in sales?   If you understood the amazing value you bring, you’d be proud, so very proud!

If you are selling in a way that identifies then solves problems and helps your prospects move towards a vision that they can’t achieve without your service, you deserve to be proud. And what about the relationships that you build between you and your clients – what’s the value there?  And what would your company do without great salespeople feeding the business engine?  Without sales there wouldn’t be a company … so salespeople are the fuel that runs the engine!

This week pay attention to the value you bring as a salesperson. Know in your heart what a difference you make to your company and your clients.  You’ll feel good and, as a bonus, I think you’ll find that your sales will increase.
