Luckily, we have electricity, water, heat, our homes are intact, and our families  are safe. Our work goes on today. But, that’s not the case for many on the East coast as another Monday morning arrives.  It is with great gratitude that we welcome this day. It is with great gratitude that another Monday morning is upon us.

Maybe the key to a good day isn’t what the day brings to us, but what we bring to the day.  How do we go on while so many suffer?  We simply go on, embracing the day and each other with humility and gratitude.  We go on being the best “we” can be. We bring our personal best to the day.

Today, take a moment to let all those around you know that you care. And, let those who are suffering know you care – consider making a contribution to the American Red Cross whose work makes a difference in many people’s lives in this great United States of America.
