How’s your summer going? Feels like it was just yesterday when we realized the days were getting longer (and hotter!) and we were pulling together those final touches on our summer vacation plans. Now, here we are, close to the end of July. You know the drill oh so well: Pretty soon we’ll start to see and hear all the “back-to-school” buzz and be reminded that, for better or worse, summer doesn’t last forever.
Reading is one of the greatest escapes that we can use when we need to step back from the reality of the world. So listen to us… until its officially time to get our head “back in the game” of this-and-that. Pick your favorite from our #GoodReads recommendations, make time to slow down and for goodness sake savor summertime by turning a page on your routine.
Our next three books are our “high five” to the  dog days of summer!
A Dog’s Purpose: A Novel for Humans Paperback
Heartwarming, insightful, and often laugh-out-loud funny, A Dog’s Purpose is not only the emotional and hilarious story of a dog’s many lives, but also a dog’s-eye commentary on human relationships and the unbreakable bonds between us and “man’s best friend.” This is a moving and beautifully crafted story that teaches us love never dies, our true friends are always with us, and every creature on earth is born with a purpose.
The Dharma of Dogs: Our Best Friends
